Metallica!

Metallica were as usual just f***in superb. It was my fifth time seeing them and its just never gets dull. I think they get better with age (except the drummer, he's always been a bit crap and dropped the rythm a couple of times). I know most reading this won't care what they played but they played all the classics including a couple of surprises. They opened with one of my favourites, Creeping Death and continued with Sad But True, Disposable Heroes, For Whom The Bell Tolls, The Memory Remains, Master of Puppepts, Orion(!), And Justice for All(!), Battery, Whiplash, Seek and Destroy, Nothing Else Matters, No Leaf Clover, Fade to Black, Enter Sandman and of course the awsome One. Me and my wee bro Nick sang and sang all night, the throats were well raw by the end of the night.

Here are just a few pics of,my memory card on my phone packed in so I couldnt take any. Nick doesn't appear to have taken any while they were actually on stage but there are some vidoes which allow you to sort of get an idea of the size of the place.

A few Videos

Nick managed to get a few videos with his phone. Not the best quality and I haven't been able conver the files to WMV or AVI. They're MP4 files so can be read by Quick Time and Real Player I think.

The all time classic One from And Justice for All (4.8MB)
Check out all the Camera Phones during Nothing Else Matters (1.8MB)
They opened with one of my favourites Creeping Death (5.1MB)
The beginning of The Unforgiven (2.6MB)
A wee bit of Fade to Black stupid faces from Nick and I included I'm afraid. (2MB)
