Nick's Stag Bash

Check out the photos from my brother's stag do. At the moment I have only got the ones from the cliff jumping. Neil was using one of those old fashioned cameras to take photos of the quad biking, you know, the ones with film in them and then you have to pay someone to develop them for you. Also after the BBQ by the loch we took loads of photos but the camera went into self censorship mode and deleted everything from the BBQ onwards. Actually what I really think happened was that we filled the memory card and then carried on trying to take more dodgy photos and the memory card didn't like it and deleted loads. Probably a good thing cos Nick did manage to lose his boxer shorts at one point. Anyway the weekend went something like this.... Friday night we had a wee warm up in Glasgow, we went to the dog track first, where I watched the boys chuck their money away while I just drank my cash. I did my duties as best man and kept feeding him water so he wouldn't feel to rubbish in the morning. It worked a treat we set off up north to go quad biking.

The quad bikes were quality, its the first time I've been when the guys running it have said 'just go for it!'. It was great really wet and muddy so you could get the bikes sliding around. The mission was to line your back wheels up on cow sh!t and drop the throttle so that you spray the guy behind you.

In the afternoon we drove further up to a wee place called Killicrankie to go cliff jumping. This was just the most fun. They warmed us up by draping a tarp over a wee sloping cliff with a drop at the bottom and literally sliding us down it in to the water. We had wet suits, bouyancy aids, helmets and shoes on so it was well safe. we gradually worked our way up, jumping off bigger and bigger rocks. The big finale was a 46 foot jump. It was one of those things where you just have to go for it. What a sensation, you just fall and fall. I did manage to chip one of my front teeth and my big bro did the same but that was the only injury.

We were staying at the Loch Tay Highland Lodges where there was a BBQ waiting for us by the Loch side. First of Nick had to get dressed in his surprise Incredible Hulk outfit! Wait till I get the photos uploaded, this was so funny. We set him a few challenges like 'scaring a small child' but they all just wanted to have their pics taken with him. When the midges got too bad we moved inside where there was a band on. Now Nick's a great drummer so we convinced the band to let him have a go and to be fair he played ok considering he was slightly the worse for wear. Watching the Hulk play drums was hilarious.

When the bar closed we moved back to the teepees for more beers and fun. Danny had brought one of those electro muscle developer things. This is one of the funnies things I have seen. The challenge is to try and drink a beer while getting zapped. Watching Neil force a beer to his mouth and then finally pour the whole lot down his front had me crying with laughter.

It was such a great weekend and I'm pretty sure everyone had a good time. Standby for the censored version of the photos.
